Established in 2004, Paramitha was initially started as a children's hospital and has since grown into a comprehensive provider of maternity services — today operating a network of 6 branches serving families across the city.

History

Paramitha Hospitals was founded in 2004as a children's hospital in Kothapet, Hyderabad, with a commitment to safe, compassionate, and high-quality paediatric care. The name "Paramitha" reflects the organisation's commitment to supreme (param) friendship (mitha) — treating every patient with the warmth and care of family.

Recognising the growing need for integrated mother and child care, Paramitha expanded to offer comprehensive maternity and obstetric services — building on its strong foundation in paediatrics and neonatology. Over two decades, the hospital grew to Madinaguda, Kompally, Medipally, Chintal, and Chandanagar — each branch tailored to serve its local community while maintaining unified clinical standards.

Infrastructure & Capacity

Across its 6 branches, Paramitha operates 300+ hospital beds, 10 operation theatres, and a combined Level III NICU capacity of 97 beds. The network employs over 800 staff members including 100+ specialist doctors across obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, paediatrics, fetal medicine, and allied specialties.

The flagship Kothapet branch houses 140 beds, 3 operation theatres, and a 30-bed NICU — making it one of the largest dedicated mother and child facilities in East Hyderabad. Each branch is equipped with modern labour rooms, surgical suites, diagnostic laboratories, ultrasound facilities, and vaccination clinics.
